I'm a passionate technologist and photographer who enjoys creating photographs that evoke an emotional response. I use photography as a medium to capture "what it felt like", rather than "what it looked like". 

The quest for great photographs and a liking for travel has taken me to 15+ countries across 6 continents - from the plains of Masai Mara in Africa to the Andes in South America, and from frigid Alaska to warm Mexico. It has also led me to a lot of fun experiences from getting stuck in swamps to landing on a beach in a bush plane to trailing big cats to getting within 15 feet of grizzly bears and moose to hiking at 16,000 ft.

Besides photography, technology is my other passion. As much as I enjoy the creative aspects of photography, the technologist in me also enjoys the technical aspects of photography and videography.
